HELLENIC HERITAGE HOUSE & CULTURAL CENTER

Alces Community Works is partnering with the Hellenic House and Cultural Center to support the preservation and continued operation of Wyoming’s only Greek cultural center. This collaboration focuses on archiving and safeguarding historical materials, providing essential preservation supplies, and working alongside members of the local Greek community to sustain the center as a living cultural space. Together, we are documenting and amplifying stories of Greek immigration, labor, and cultural life across the American West, situating local histories within broader patterns of diaspora, movement, and settlement. By centering community memory and lived experience, this work helps ensure that the contributions of Greek families to Western towns, industries, and social life are preserved, honored, and shared across generations.
