WYOMING NEIGHBORS FOR HOUSING
The measure of a community is whether the people who build it can afford to stay in it. Wyoming Neighbors for Housing is working to make sure Wyoming meets that measure.
The organization brings people together around one of the most pressing issues facing Wyoming communities — the growing gap between what homes cost and what families can afford — through education, advocacy, and the steady work of helping people use their voices to change policy.
ALCES Community Works designed Wyoming Neighbors for Housing's website, creating a public-facing home for an organization that is still building its presence and reach. For us, this work sits squarely within our mission. We believe that when our stories are told, we are represented — and that extends to the stories organizations tell about themselves and the communities they serve. A well-designed website isn't just infrastructure; it's an act of visibility. It says: this work is real, this community deserves attention, and we are here.
We use arts-based methods to co-create projects that reflect the lived experiences of Wyomingites and strengthen the democratic fabric of our communities. Housing is not separate from that work — it is central to it. Who gets to stay, who gets to belong, and whose needs shape policy are fundamentally questions about who gets to be seen and remembered. We are glad to support Wyoming Neighbors for Housing as they work toward a Wyoming where every neighbor has a place to call home.
