History you can hang on your wall

Each chapter of Celebrate Wyoming People's History! commissions a poster series built around a single overlooked story — a labor movement, a community of care, a chapter of collective action that didn't make it into the textbooks. The posters are designed to be lived with: handed out for free, hung in kitchens, libraries, union halls, and storefronts across the state.

Our most recent chapter centered entirely on youth artists from Laramie High School, who researched and illustrated the histories themselves — putting the tools of public history directly into the hands of the next generation of Wyoming storytellers.

This is a project built to repeat. Each new chapter asks the same question of a different community: whose history hasn't been hung up yet?
